Just arrived today at the Chamber office at the Historic Ironwood Depot (150 North Lowell Street) is the new 2021-2023 Ironwood Chamber of Commerce Destination Guide. The “welcome picture” is a unique drone picture taken by Bill Pohlmann which shows in the center the space where the great railroad yards of Ironwood used to be, and which now hosts the Iron Belle Trail (that light brown line that heads out toward the upper right of the photo). This Chamber Guide places a new emphasis on Ironwood as an economic and cultural community residing within a landscape of great beauty. For over 100 years, Ironwood has been a center for the Arts, both performing and visual, with the restored Ironwood Theatre downtown being the present-day focal point for performance. Ironwood today has a lot to offer prospective residents and prospective business start-ups! Pick up a copy our our new guide (which includes new map pages as well) at the Depot, Michigan Welcome Center, as well as selected lodging establishments and businesses. This guide was made possible by ALL the members of the Ironwood Chamber of Commerce as well as those members whose advertising enabled the printing of the Guide.
