A world-wide celebration of all things plaid, the First Friday in October is just the opportunity you need to come downtown and be a part of Ironwood’s First Friday Plaidurday event. Aurora Street will be closed off, and you can start gathering at 5:40 or so. Formal drone picture is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Last year, we had 859 (yes you can count the folks in the picture!) show their plaid bona fides and this year our goal is 1,360 — which just happens to be the current Guinness World Record! A great time to gather and display that Fall in the U.P. spirit. See you all downtown on October 6th.
