Spring has sprung at last in the U.P., and all things new are sprouting up all over! Likewise, the Ironwood Chamber has published their new 2025-2027 Ironwood Destination Guide. Already over 7,500 copies have been distributed to Michigan Welcome Centers, and regional Chamber and Visitor Center offices. The Guide is available here on our website as a flipbook. Note that when looking at the Guide in this manner, if you move your cursor over advertiser web addresses, you will then connect to the advertisers’ home webpage!
Every two years, the Ironwood Chamber produces a Destination Guide. As we get no tax money for Chamber operations, the Guide is created in-house and financed by those Chamber members whose ads you see in the Guide. It is a huge project for just a couple of folks to to do. Moreover, this issue is our first full-sized magazine format, so the internal Ironwood map is much more readable! Our theme for this issue is one of youth and family, with pictures and text showcasing the many activities and resources to be found in Ironwood for both kids and young families. The goal of these Guides is to portray Ironwood as not just a visitor or tourist stop, but a place for people to come and live–hence the different Guide sections dealing with our community life together. Also new in this issue is a four-page event section, which lists the principal regional events that occur each year, along with a short description of each and a web link. Pick up a copy at your local MI Welcome Center or stop by the Ironwood Depot office.
