Chamber guy has not written for a while, but the season of outdoor events is winding down (save for Ironwood Plaidurday on Oct. 2 and Wakefield Sweater Weather on Oct. 17). Nevertheless, the continued dry and warm conditions have served up a carpet of color throughout the U.P. The daily changing view on our Mt. Zion webcam (access from the home page) show just how glorious all these colors are, and folks are coming north to spend time with the leaves, the moss, the trees, and early Fall temperatures & light. It is a special time, and, depending on the weather (rain and wind) usually does not last long into October. So, now is your time to take in the great beauty of the U.P.!
