Saturday, December 3, at 6:00 p.m., the Jack Frost Festival of Lights parade steps off from in front of the Historic Carnegie Library and travels down Ironwood’s Aurora Street! With a projected 41 units this year, we can be sure that this parade will have something for everyone to enjoy and marvel at: horses and sleighs, snowmobile trail groomers, the Ironwood Dance Company, floats celebrating Jack Frost Wintertime, and the famous Precision Snow Shovel Drill Team performing feats of drift-defying legerdemain! Weather looks good–snow expected! The Ironwood Chamber welcomes all (locals and visitors) to come downtown and experience a true “Yooper-style” event that marks the beginning of holiday and wintertime events in Ironwood.
