The Friends of the Iron Belle Trail is a volunteer support group for that part of the Michigan Iron Belle Trail that begins here in Ironwood.  Members perform trail maintenance, organize biking and hiking events, and hold fund-raisers for the support of the trail.  Like them on FB and follow all their posts about the trail.  This summer, ground was broken on the next section of the trail, from Bessemer to Ramsay, and the hope is that this section will be paved and completed by Fall!
