My passion for art began by taking a single art class in high school at the age of 16.  A s soon as I held the brush and dabbed it into paint, I felt peace.  That emotion changed me forever and set me on the path of artistic creation and an artistic career.  I’ve created 1,200 portraits in India ink, graphite, oil, watercolor, acrylic, and gouache.  Additionally, I’e completed over 300 murals on diverse surfaces, including buildings, walls, ceilings, theatre backdrops, gym floors, and more.  Admiring the expressive freedom in the works of artists like Vincent Van Gogh, Georgia O’Keefe, and Franz Marc, I also strive to infuse a similar sense of liberation into my own creations,  While I have been painting for 43 years, I still have so much more to learn and so much more to express through art.
