Our mission is to advance the safe and responsible use of multi-use trails for both motorized and non-motorized recreationists by working towards the development, designation, and interconnection of multi-use trails in the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan. MI-TRALE oversees 550 miles of connected multi-use trails throughout Ontonagon, Houghton, Gogebic, Iron, and Baraga Counties; the Ottawa National Forest, and the Copper Country State Forest.
