During the summer, one of the first things a visitor to the Chamber of Commerce office in the 1893 Historic Ironwood Depot is the welcome garden, located at the west end of the Depot. Nurtured over many years by faithful gardeners, this Depot mainstay received special recognition this past week as a historic plaque was erected tracing the the history of the garden and three of its important cultivators and garden guardians! On your trip to Ironwood, make sure to stop into the Chamber office for maps, guides, historical displays, and…the Welcome Garden!
