April 14, and the snow is melting and we have had our 1st thunderstorm. The picture above is from the Chamber’s Depot garden and it is real evidence that some green is starting up appear up here in the U.P. The waterfalls on the Black River are roaring, the ice on the Lake Superior shoreline is rapidly diminishing, and the time for rock and agate hunting is fast approaching. Spring in the U.P. is an amazing time–when parts of the landscape come into view that are hidden during the “leaf” season. Come on U.P.! Stop into the Ironwood Depot when you come, and say “hi”!
