While the official Chamber of Commerce Jack Frost Festival of Wintertime Events came to a close at the end of January with the “Light Up The Night” bonfire and fireworks at Ironwood’s Norrie Club, the full winter season of snowmobile, ski, and snowshoe is now in full swing. Currently we have a good base of snow, and activity on the trails has been excellent. Moreover, more snow is forecast–so that hopefully this year, even March will be a time that is full of great outdoor “powder” sports. Thanks to all who visit us to enjoy our wide range of winter recreation activities, from downhill and cross-country ski, to groomed snowshoe trails and snowmobile trails. In wintertime, the U.P. is the place to be!
